- Recommended for 3S and 4S usage, but 1200kv motor can be run on 6S with a small enough weapon
Notes for use:
- 1/4″ shoulder bolt or other similar through shaft is required for use. Without the shoulder bolt the rotor is not fully constrained and may be damaged.
- 1/4″ x 1.5″ shoulder bolt is great for bots with 2x 0.25″ uprights.
- When designing the blade, the tooth portion should line up with the 2 screws at the top. This provides the most optimal loading scenario with maximum strength. Three tooth weapon designs are not recommended.

Absolute gold standard for hub motors in ants. This blows the completion out of the water as far as kv options, durability, and reliability. I’ve used it in many more standard style bots, RARELY breaking one. I’ve broken quite a few by torturing them and doing things Peter did NOT recommend (like a 300g 6.5” horizontal blade for a bristle bot) and it still held up for a while before burning out. These things are beasts with so much torque it can make a small bot flip without a throttle curve. Highly recommend, especially combined with an am32 esc with proper settings

I’ve bought several of these hub motors for our antweight bot. They’re incredibly durable—I haven’t broken a single one, even after many fights. These things are beasts. I highly recommend them to anyone building antweight bots.

I pride myself on building my own hub motors but I am having problems with Horizontal bar/disk spinners (like a Scalar kit). The Repeat Antweight Hub motor and 6mm thick AR600, 3.25″ blade is actually lighter than my Dark 454 Hub motor and disk. What is amazing is how rigid and smooth this solution is. Even the 2400KV hub motor and weapon are perfectly balanced and can easily self right the bot from a stop. The only problem is that this solution is available to my competitors (which have used this weapon to defeat me many times before. Now I have leveled up. See you in the Box.
